Dr. Lowell Hardy has six degrees including a Doctor of Practical Theology from Master’s International University of Divinity in Evansville, Indiana. Lowell is a licensed and ordained minister. He has served in ministry since 1994. He serves as a pastor at Sanders Grove Baptist Church, Smithfield, NC for two and half years. He is currently practices to ministry through theological writings. He served in the military forces, United States Marine Corps and Air Force Reserve, during the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War, respectively. He worked as an electronics technician for twenty years, and served as an educator in the NC Public Schools for fifteen years. He lives in Garner
This write-up explores the concept of a calling, even acknowledging struggles one might face when answering it initially. However, once the person answers the call, they often find peace and a sense of purpose, and any feelings of doubt dissipate as they feel good about their decision. Answering the call becomes something that continues to play a significant role in their life.
My vision for this book was to illustrate examples of individuals who received a calling from God in the lives of people in the Bible and how they responded to it. The book provides examples that if a person desires to answer a call, then this book will assist them. It delves into the lives of people whose lives were called upon by God, while also providing examples of how they were able to overcome obstacles. Additionally, it analyzes God’s teachings, guiding individuals on what they need to do, the preparation required, and the process of delivering and explaining the message. At times, individuals can be empowered to deliver messages to people, demonstrating the authority that God gives to individuals to go out and make disciples
